LANGKAWI, Jan 9 (Bernama) -- National elite sailor, Khairulnizam Mohd Afendy continued with his winning ways Saturday and took the overall lead after six races in the laser radial category of the Australian Junior Championships taking place in Adelaide.Khairulnizam, 16, the sole Malaysian competitor in the championship, has now accumulated 17 points and has five more races to go before knowing who will emerge champion.Malaysian Yachting Association general manager (MYA), Mohd Afendy Abdullah said Khairulnizam did not face much problems today despite windspeeds being below 10 knots."We are hoping he can sustain his performance over ther next five races," he told Bernama.A total of 43 sailors from Singapore, New Zealand, the Cook Islands, France, Malaysia and Australia are competing in the championship.
