I know it sounds weird, but one of Langkawi's fabulous (I can't think of other word!) attractions is the Four Seasons Resort, set on Langkawi's best beach, Tanjung Rhu. I didn't get to stay there (flat broke), but my spirit wasn't broke to explore the side of this out-of-this-world beauty. Call me wannabe, but I soooo wannabe there again, even as I'm writing this! What i can say is musemono blog are really interesting. It quite detail & great pictures on the places he visits. There's also an article about Kampung Tok Senik Resort. Do look up his blog if you plan to stay at these two places.
