Pantai Pasir Tengkorak Beach

Picture of the day. In datai there's a small beach called Pantai Pasir Tengkorak (Skull Beach). I dont know the reasons for the name. Will find out. The beach is very small & secluded in Datai. There is no hotels nearby & Temurun Waterfall is just around the corner. Thanks stephen for the great picture. To see more stephen pictures here.

Ibrahim Hussein Museum Remains Open

LANGKAWI, Jan 27 (Bernama) -- A museum in Pasir Tengkorak here which exhibits more than 100 works of the late Datuk Ibrahim Hussein remains open and has not closed, as rumoured, after the death of the famed artist last year. The museum is open daily from 10am to 6pm, except on Friday. A spokesman of the museum said the number of visitors had decreased of late following the rumour. Ibrahim died in February last year.

Langkawi Member of Parliament Datuk Paduka Abu Bakar Taib said the museum was a tourism product.-- BERNAMA

Anaklangkawi :- Alhamdulillah its not closed down. The tourism industry shall make an effort to promote the place since the Museum spokesman said its having less tourist visit it lately..
